Baby Board Book
Big and Small
An illustrated board book that uses playful shifts in scale, bold imagery, and rhythmic typography to introduce relative size to children ages 0–3.
Designing for Early Literacy
Created in collaboration with DERT (Dedicated to Education through Reading Together) as part of Parsons’ Collaboration Studio: Children’s Book Design, this project explores how visual storytelling can support early literacy and parent–child interaction.
Inspired by the song “Are You Big or Am I Small?,” the board book introduces size as a relative concept through playful comparisons, high-contrast illustrations, and rhythmic typography. Designed for children ages 0–3, each spread creates a simple visual exchange that encourages shared reading, sensory engagement, and
early learning.
